But the tools around it were either bare-bones playgrounds or heavy, expensive platforms. MermaidViewer sits in between — instant to open, delightful to use, and powerful when you need it.
What we care about
- Speed. The editor loads fast and renders as you type.
- No friction. No sign-up, no watermark, no install for the core features.
- Privacy. Diagrams render in your browser; nothing is stored unless you choose to save it.
- Open formats. Your diagrams are plain Mermaid text you can take anywhere.
